“AYO”

  • North Farmington High School 32900 West 13 Mile Road Farmington Hills, MI, 48334 United States (map)

Hey, hello, hi, peace, or “AYO”… and countless other terms have been used to greet people throughout history. Rooted from hip hop and jazz culture, “AYO” is built from black language. It’s used to tell when something is right, wrong, or awesome, and when something is too sweet for words, its use is seen with your closest people, your family, or people who know you best. It’s personal. In short, “AYO” is a personal embrace.

FCB’s maestro, Damien Crutcher, is embracing that sentiment this season with a unique holiday event featuring original compositions.

Special guest conductor, Kristin Blanchard.
